Straight answers on Nawiliwili logistics, enquire-to-book, and what we will not invent.
Frequently asked questions
Is Nawiliwili the same as Port Allen?+
No. Nawiliwili is Kauai’s cruise port and this site’s schedule identity. Port Allen is a separate harbour and is not our cruise schedule port.
Is “Kauai” alone enough for ship-call provenance?+
No. Generic Kauai is useful as a destination label, but schedule provenance for this specialist is Nawiliwili.
Do you offer instant online booking?+
No. We use enquire-to-book. You send ship date and guest details; we confirm partner supply and timing by email. No payment is taken at enquiry.
Are the prices on product pages final?+
Listed retail figures are a guide only. Reconfirm when you enquire — partner rates and inclusions can change.
Should I book the nine-hour canyon and river combo on a normal day call?+
Usually no. That outing is framed as long-stay / overnight only. For a typical Nawiliwili day, start with Journey to Waimea Canyon or a shorter river / railway option.
Where is the ship schedule?+
Verified Nawiliwili calls will appear on the ship schedule page after official PortCall acquisition. We do not publish placeholder rows. Until then, use Find my cruise in manual mode.
Do you guarantee return to the ship?+
No. We plan with return buffers in mind and confirm timing when we reply, but we do not claim a guaranteed return-to-ship.
How do I contact you?+
Email hello@kauaishoreexcursions.com or use the enquire form. We do not publish a public phone number on this site.
Need help planning your Kauai call?
Tell us your ship date and how long you expect ashore at Nawiliwili — we will reply with an honest fit from our curated Kauai set, or suggest a simpler port-day option.
